Carolyn Allain is a licensed Interior Designer for Paul J. Allain, Architect APAC. She is the first on-staff Interior Designer for the firm. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Louisiana State University in 2013, Carolyn interned under the guidance of a licensed Interior Designer and Architect in New Orleans. There she focused on commercial high-rises and the corporate tenant suites they entail. As well as, renovation of historic buildings. At LSU, Carolyn received her CIDA accreditation and the CXC Distinguished Communicator Certificate. Through her prior experience and CIDA accreditation, Carolyn was able to sit for the NCIDQ “National Council for Interior Design” licensure exam- receiving her certificate in 2016.
Since beginning work at Paul J. Allain, Architect APAC, Carolyn has taken the role of creating the first in house interior design department for the firm. She has contributed to our team through collaborating with the project architects on various commercial and residential projects. Carolyn’s unwavering professionalism pushed her to dive head first into residential interior design. Since then her portfolio in residential design has grown immensely. Carolyn maintains creative focus and artistic detail on every project. Her receptive personality allows her to fulfill every clients design needs and goals. Carolyn continually strives to shed light on the physical and psychological benefits of high quality interior design
