Paul J. Allain is the Principle Architect and Owner of Paul J. Allain, Architect APAC. Paul received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (ULL) in 1980. After obtaining his architecture license, he opened his firm in 1991 in his hometown of New Iberia. Paul has a regional reputation for excellence in architectural planning and design with projects ranging in scale from large public and commercial buildings to custom residences. As the principal architect of the firm, Paul’s expertise covers many territories. Paul enjoys the challenge of coming up with creative solutions to design problems and providing the region with innovative, progressive buildings that compliment their surroundings. Helping his clients’ achieve their aspirations, Paul develops programmatic and implementation strategies, collaborates with highly skilled consultants and works within the client’s budgetary parameters. Paul’s dedication to client satisfaction and his specialized expertise has allowed the firm to maintain many long-lasting relationships and bring a well deserved level of respect and excitement to the practice.

Committed to his community, Paul has participated in numerous charitable events for the region. Paul is a member and past president of the Cajun Kiwanis service organization and a past president of the Iberia Home Builders Association. In 2003, Paul was awarded the Daily Iberian “Citizen of the Year” Award for creating the first public skate park in Louisiana through the non-profit organization he founded, Iberia’s Youth on Wheels.
