Office of Paul J. Allain, Architect APAC
Project Description:
The award-winning office of Paul J. Allain, Architect demonstrates an adaptive reuse of a deteriorating industrial structure into a contemporary office building with sustainable building strategies. Once a Ford radiator repair, origins of the local industries reflect in the building’s vocabulary and design. An abundance of refurbished, operable windows and large overhangs allow for controlled day lighting, natural ventilation, and spectacular views while a rain water collection system stores enough water to replenish the aquatic garden when needed.
