The Gougenheim
Project Description:
Originally built in 1894, the Gougenhiem building is a landmark structure for the award-winning Main Street and renovated into a unique boutique hotel. The re-introduction of a new veranda balcony was designed to match to the original 1894 balcony. On the interior, a large banquet hall, a full kitchen, smaller gathering spaces and a variety of guest suites were designed. Cypress wood was salvaged and reclaimed during demolition and reused as interior moldings, fireplace mantels and cabinets throughout the building.
